Grant Nelson and his wife, Lisa raise cattle farm near Thief River Falls, Minnesota. Grant wrote
a very popular column called Rural Reflections for the Grand Forks (ND) Herald newspaper from November of 2000 until March
of 2006. He recently published a collection of these columns under the title, "Rural Reflections." Grant
now writes his column for "the Northern Watch" newspaper published in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.
Grant and Lisa raise Scottish Highland/Angus cattle on grass without steroids. You can
purchase beef from the Nelson's and it will be processed by his brother, Steve at Town and Country Meats in Newfolden, Minnesota.
